GEEKNIC – Vereda del Lago

In this small gathering in Vereda del Lago, I had the chance to catch up withVelug Maracaibo, Ubuntu-ve, Friends of Debian, and people who work with FOSS on daily. It’s always interesting to talk face to face and share ideas of what is happening in Venezuela with respect to free and open source software. I was a bit jittery about the organization, I felt a little afraid that there were not going to be enough sandwiches and soft drinks, but people brough a little something and it all went super well. We wanted to take the tram Maracaibo but the last one went out at 4:45 pm and 4:30 pm and not all the guys had arrived. We hope to have another geeknic soon. Special thanks to Laura Czajkowski from Ubuntu-ie for sharing this wonderful idea with us. we had a blast
