Ubuntu-za: LoCo Team Contact Change
November 4, 2009 at 4:19 pm | In English | 2 Comments
The Ubuntu South Africa LoCo Team has a new co-Contact, David Rubin. He takes over for Jonathan Carter (highvoltage), who has cnsiderably stepped down from the position. a novelty is that elections were held to popularly elect the new co-contact. Morgan Collett explains; “We’ve held an election for a new co-leader using
the Launchpad poll mechanism: http://wiki.ubuntu-za.org/Governance/Election2009
“
This a great display of civility within the LoCo Teams. Kudos to South Africa and on behalf of the LoCo Council, welcome aboard David.
